Find your local pharmacy and community pharmacy services on offer

Explore Book a Pharmacy, by clicking on the image.

Book a Pharmacy can help you find a local pharmacy. You can search by post code, find them on a map and see how to get there. All the pharmacies in England, Scotland and Wales are listed.

Book a Pharmacy wants to make it easier for you to find specific community pharmacy services. We have just started our roll-out and therefore your local pharmacy may not be listed under the services search yet. But, you can still contact them directly to find out what they offer.

We are adding more information every day. If you would like to be notified when community pharmacy services are added in your area, please register your interest at the bottom of the page.

Community pharmacies

Your local pharmacy can provide much more than prescriptions and over the counter medicines. They are a hub of information and the pharmacy team is trained to provide advice and treatment on a variety of health conditions, from infant feeding to sinusitis, from health checks to short-term sleep and stress issues.

Examples of community pharmacy services

NHS Pharmacy First

This community pharmacy service is available at most pharmacies in England and allows pharmacists to offer advice and prescription medicine, if appropriate, for the following conditions:

  • Infected insect bites (aged 1 year and over)
  • Impetigo (aged 1 year and over)

  • Sinusitis (aged 12 years and over)
  • Sore throat (aged 5 years and over)
  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs) (women aged 16 to 64 years)

If you have one of these conditions, but do not fall in the age range, your pharmacy team can still offer advice and provide over the counter treatment, if appropriate.
